Drone Battery Repair FAQ
Can a swollen LiPo battery be repaired?
No. Swollen cells must be safely removed and recycled. Rebuilds use healthy cells where possible.
How long does a repair take?
Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks. If parts or replacement cells are required, we notify you of extra lead time before starting work.
Is it safe to courier my battery?
Yes. Discharge the battery to 30–40% before shipping. Use original packaging or a LiPo-safe bag. Shipping-safe bags can also be supplied on request.
Do you repair DJI smart batteries?
Yes. We check BMS, cell balance, and replace damaged components when possible for DJI Mini, Mavic, Phantom, Inspire, and FPV batteries.
Is it worth repairing or should I buy new?
Repairing is usually cheaper if only some cells or connectors are faulty. If many cells are damaged, we advise when a full replacement is more cost-effective.
