⚠️ CRITICAL: Read Before Logging Your Drone

To ensure our lab remains focused on technical engineering and high-turnaround repair lines, you must agree to our operational constraints.

Our Three Lab Rules:

  1. No Free Advice: We do not provide DIY tips, spare parts for self-repair, or over-the-phone diagnostics. We are a closed engineering lab.
  2. Upfront Intake Fee: Every drone booked into our lab is subject to a non-refundable inspection, diagnostic, and reporting fee, payable upon the drone’s arrival at our Heidelberg workshop. This fee covers our specialized bench-testing, microscopy, and a written engineering quote.
    Consumer Drones: R500
    Enterprise Drones: R700
    Agricultural Drones: R999
  3. Secure Courier Only: We operate from a secure homebased technical workshop in Heidelberg, Western Cape. We do not accept unbooked walk-ins or retail counter drop-offs.

    Mandatory Engineering & Legal Declarations:

Lawful Ownership: I confirm that I am the lawful owner or authorized operational representative of this UAV platform.

Hazmat & Battery Safety: I declare that all batteries delivered are physically intact and safe for handling. I certify that agricultural platforms are fully flushed and completely free of hazardous chemicals, toxic pesticides, or active biological contaminants.

Diagnostic Authorization: I authorize Eden Drone Repairs to perform rigorous diagnostic procedures, including high-voltage powered bench testing, firmware analysis, motor-load testing, ESC troubleshooting, and telemetry calibration.

Operational Risk Acknowledgment: I understand that agricultural and commercial UAV platforms operate in highly corrosive or high-stress environments, and hidden, latent structural or electrical damage may only become visible during deep bench disassembly. I accept that diagnostic or calibration test flights, where required, are conducted entirely at my own operational risk.

Estimation & Liability Limits: I accept that repair quotations are binding estimates, but additional faults may be uncovered once mechanical disassembly begins. I agree that Eden Drone Repairs’ liability is strictly limited to the direct value of the technical service performed and explicitly excludes crop loss, operational downtime loss, commercial consequential damages, or any third-party insurance claims.

Financial Commitment: I understand that the R500 inspection fee is immediately due upon drone intake and that approved repair costs must be settled in full prior to start of the repairs.

Platform Compliance Gatekeepers Legacy Platform & Discontinued Hardware Disclaimer: I explicitly acknowledge that older or discontinued UAV platforms (5+ years old, legacy flight controllers, or end-of-life models) face acute global parts scarcity, missing factory documentation, or dead firmware support. I accept that restoring these assets may not be economically viable, and I agree that the R500 diagnostic fee remains fully payable regardless of the repair outcome.

Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policies: I confirm that I have read, understood, and accept the full Eden Drone Repairs Terms & Conditions, Limitation of Liability clauses, and Privacy Policy.
